Welcome!
Hey there! My name is Karpur Shukla (કર્પૂર શુક્લ in Gujarati; कर्पूर शुक्ल in Hindi). I'm currently a PhD student at the Fluids and Thermal Sciences Group, in the School of Engineering at Brown University.
Before my current appointment, I was a research associate and faculty member at the Centre for Mathematical Modelling and Department of Applied Mathematics at Flame University. I received my M.Sc. in physics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016, and my B.Sc. in physics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2014. I was born and grew up in New Jersey; I attended High Technology High School and the Columbia Science Honors Program.
As you can see, this place is still very much a work in progress. In due course, I'm hoping you'll be able to see a description of my research interests, check out my analytic and computational physics work, access my curriculum vitae, and even get a flavour of some really interesting math and physics. Until then, feel free to check out my ORCID profile, my Google Scholar page, my Publons profile, my SciProfiles page, my webpage at the Thermodynamics of Computation wiki, or my Github!
I hope you enjoy your stay here!
